Locust
 Scientific name: Schistocera gregaria
    
           Being a member of grasshopper (Acididea), the main difference between them is grasshopper stay single and locust stay at group forming swarm.



Origin:
           Originated from Africa, the mid East and Asia where excess rain trigged a breeding broom countries like Ethiopia and Somalia in East Africa have been withering locust attack since years.
       Being able to travels long distance at little time period, eat food of own weight and having rapid reproduction cycle, the swarms of locust are very danger for us because they destroy our food. As they are danger for agriculture, so they are ultimately dangerful for we human being.
