Agriculture and economy

            Agriculture and economy

It is important for us to realise the importance of agriculture in today's world. As we are familiar with the fact that, without a strong base, no building can be strong; similarly without agricultural development, there is no economic growth of a nation. There is a close relationship between agriculture and economy.

Investments in agriculture are the best weapons against hunger, poverty and disease. But  most of the developing countries like Nepal and India are not effective like developed countries in the field of agriculture because most of the farmer are still practicing subsistence farming. The country where 50-55% of citizens are engaged in agriculture is not doing good in economy but the country with 2% of population at agriculture are doing great. The agriculture's contribution to economic development is very important.  So even government should come with the effective plans for agriculture in behave of citizens.
