Medicinal and Aromatic Plants on Nepalese farming system

 Nepal is the one of the rishest repositories of medicinal and aromatic plants in the world which will pave way for reaping the green glod. The demand on plant based therapeutic has been increased manifolds in both developing and developed countries due to the growing recognition that they are natural products, being non narcotic, having no side effects, easily available at affordable prices. Although Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) carries the huge importance in the field of human health, their commercial cultivation is not practiced in Nepal. Cereals crop has been the top priority for the researchers hence there is huge gap in the modernization of MAPs in nepalese farming system.  My take on cultivation  As per the report of survey which we, the students of CNRM Puranchaur take; most of the local people are still unaware of the commercialisation of MAPs along with their true worth and value.             How to control locust naturally?   Birds and reptile as eco-controller of locust.              The natural way of controlling locust is birds and reptile. There are large numbers of birds and reptile which can control the growth of locust by eating them. As Nepal, India and Pakistan are the habitat for thousands varieties of birds and reptiles.         But due to deforestation and urbanisation , most of birds and reptiles are losing their habitat. Origin:            Originated from Africa, the mid East and Asia where excess rain trigged a breeding broom countries like Ethiopia and Somalia in East Africa have been withering locust attack since years.        Being able to travels long distance at little time period, eat food of own weight and having rapid reproduction cycle , the swarms of locust are very danger for us because they destroy our food. As they are danger for agriculture , so they are ultimately dangerful for we human being.
